Brave Education: Parent/Caregiver Workshop

ECC School Council is pleased to present Brave Education with "Building Emotional Regulation."

In this workshop:

Parents and caregivers learn how events impact their children's emotions and thoughts, and how they influence their actions.

They discover how emotions are natural and how to help children identify them in their bodies.  They gain insight into helpful and unhelpful thoughts, and how to reframe them when appropriate.

They explore when, where, and how to have challenging conversations with their children.

They learn what we can and cannot control, and how to take accountability for our actions using regulation strategies, including Breathe, Express, and Share.

Family Dance Feb 20

Thank you for joining us at our Family Dance!

With approximately 70 families in attendance, it was truly heartwarming to see the excitement and enthusiasm of our students on the dance floor, as well as the meaningful conversations and connections taking place among parents throughout the evening. Events like this are a beautiful reminder of the strength of our school community.

A very special thank you goes to our many dedicated volunteers. Their time, energy, and commitment ensured the event ran smoothly from start to finish. Without their support, events like this simply would not be possible.

Funds raised through Home & School events are directed back into enriching our students’ educational experiences and enhancing their learning environment. Your continued participation and support make a meaningful difference.
